Heat pumps are a novelty on the Polish heating market. Their principle of operation is to collect heat from the environment and transfer it to the heating system, and not, as in the case of gas or coal boilers, to create heat as a result of fuel combustion. Heat pumps are distinguished by high efficiency and zero emission of harmful substances to the environment, similarly as in the case of electric boilers. We distinguish between heat pumps powered by heat from air, ground or water. The selection of the right type of equipment depends mainly on the heat demand of the building and the temperature of the media we use to obtain heat energy.
